About

As it currently stands, I’m a normal guy working a normal job as a CPA who may or may not be able to list the acceptable depreciation methods to account for fixed assets. I am two years removed from a playing career at Division III University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where I started a bunch of games, won a couple championships, and posted a career stat line somewhere in the neighborhood of Matthew Dellavedova and Lindsey Hunter. In essence, I was pretty average. My experience, however, was not. I plan to leverage pieces of that experience where I can in my contributions to this site, while expanding on what has already been a life (albeit a relatively brief life) in basketball.

My allegiances have and always will reside with Wisconsin sports teams, namely the Milwaukee Bucks, and I still call Wisconsin home.  I grew up watching Dick Bennett and Bo Ryan style basketball, and find beauty in what many would consider ugly. I also have always gravitated towards the fast and the furious; from the John Calipari-led Memphis Tigers to the Mike D’Antoni-led Phoenix Suns. Despite my undeniable fanhood and wide ranging opinions,  bias is something I have always strived to limit and pledge to avoid here. Whether I can follow through or not is simply a matter of execution. That’s what it always comes down to….execution.

I hope to eventually have other people contribute to this site in addition to myself. The way I see it, why not strive for quality and quantity, as opposed to either or? If you have a passion for the game of basketball and can throw a few sentences together, feel free to reach out if you have some ideas. That’s what this whole internet thing is about anyways, sharing ideas.
